isMoving() method missing from RMIRegulatedMotor?

Postby rvanderwerf » Tue Apr 22, 2014 5:18 am

I'm trying to port the 'webrover1' project( https://github.com/legorovers/webrover1 ) to run on the EV3 and I've converted all of the bluetooth support (I think it's still iffy on ev3 right?) to the RMI support via Wifi. I made my own version of the DifferentialPilot class to a RMIDifferentialPilot class that uses all of the RMIRemoteRegulatedMotor classes as well. However I'm missing the isMoving() method call in the RMIRegulatedMotor class. The javadocs also make reference to this but I can't seem to find it. The only thing I found was 'waitCompleted' which isn't quite the same in this case. Or is there something else I should use? They had this working over bluetooth on the nxt before which had the isMoving() method on the motors. It appears it was removed at some point but I haven't found why yet (I assume it was broken?)

Cheers

I think I just missing the isMoving() method. I have fixed it in the latest Git version. I will probably add a wrapper class that implements RegulatedMotor, so that you can use the standard pilots remotely.
