Problem: uploading my program

Postby lucalumpa » Sun May 25, 2014 9:22 am

Hello,

I have a problem to connect (in USB, Wi-fi or Bluetooth) with my brick Ev3. I can't upload my program. I tried to look into the "command prompt" ("ssh root@IP_ADRESS") but he's not recognized.
I don't know how to do. It was working great before.
I use eclipse.

Thanks, and sorry for my english (I'm french)

What doesn't work? Are you using the Eclipse plugin? To use ssh on Windows you need putty or a similar utility. When did it work before?

Hello,

which operating system are you using?

When using WiFi you have to connect the EV3 to your router. Did that work? In this case you should have access via the shown WiFi IP address. That one is the one in the second line on the display.

When using USB or BT the EV3 is your access point. So you have to connect your computer to that access point. I do only have Linux where you have to connect via the network tools to your EV3.

Hope this helps a little.

Bye marvin

You say that Wifi, Bluetooth and USB are all not working, so it sounds like you have three separate problems.

For Wifi: Does the Wifi IP address appear on the LCD screen? Try restarting the brick and see if it appears. If you cannot see any access points, it looks like your Wifi dongle is not working. Have you changed anything since it last worked?
