This is where you talk about the NXJ hardware related topics such as the brick, sensors, LEGO pieces, etc.

As I have not purchased a NXT Brick yet, I was wondering if I could run NXT on Eclipse and run PC Control from Netbeans then communicate using sockets. I have seen references to running NXT on a PC, but, I might be imagining things.
Is this possible? Is there a procedure? Have folks even tried this, instead of flashing every change?

Do you have access to an NXT at all? If not then no there is no way to run all of your Java leJOS code on a PC. If you have access to an NXt (one running the standard firmware) then you can run leJOS code on a PC and control the NXt via Bluetooth.
