Can't run leJOS PC samples

Postby Mariam » Sat Dec 17, 2011 1:15 pm

Hi, I am new to leJOS. I'm following the tutorial here http://lejos.sourceforge.net/nxt/nxj/tutorial/Preliminaries/CompileAndRun.htm#6 to run PC sample.

nxjpcc SensorTest.java runs successfully, but nxjpc SensorTest always give the error "Error: Couldn't find or load main class SensorTest".

This happens with all the pc samples not only the sensor test sample. Is anything missing in what I am doing ?

Hi,
When asking for help the more you tell us the more likely we will be able to help you... so
What version of leJOS are you using
What operating system are you using
How exactly are you compiling and running your program
What error message exactly is being displayed

Sorry for not clarifying.

I am using leJOS version 0.9.0 and I am running on Windows 7

I am compiling and running from the command prompt

for compiling I write : nxjpcc SensorTest.java
No error here , the class file is generated

for running I write :nxjpc SensorTest
Here I get error "Error: Couldn't find or load main class SensorTest"

For me, the exact same commands work just fine. I tried using Windows and Linux.

Yes they work for me on Windows 7 as well...

So a few more questions...
What version of Java are you running?
Have you changed anything after installing leJOS?
Are you using a standard Windows command shell?
