Problem finding the Phantom Driver

Postby Rubikscuber202 » Mon Oct 21, 2013 3:08 pm

I have problems finding a version of the phantom Driver to use it with the Eclipse plugin. But since there is the new NXT now, the download link has vanished from Lego`s website.

Perhaps because you have misspelt it (Fantom not Phantom) anyway here you go:

Can you try http://www.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/do ... om-driver/ ?
On Linux, I could only download the OS X driver. Hopefully, Windows users will get the Windows version.

No idea, that link and all of the others from the results of typing "lego fantom driver" into google all take me a to a page that allows the download of the fantom driver.

I'm redirected to some EV3 centered webpage. It's hard to find the NXT downloads, actually.

No i only can download the Mac version. And on the German page you only get EV3 and nothing at all for NXT. So is there a way to get the Driver from the new Page?

Sorry can't really help as I see the downloads fine. Not sure if my IP is seen as being US or GB (I'm at work), but wherever it is I can get to the Fantom download page. Have you tried all of the various links from google? Do they all re-direct?

All the links on Google are mindstroms.lego.com, and they all redirect to lego.de/en_gb/mindstorms

Yes. When I enter mindstorms.lego.com or mindstorms.com in the URL bar, then I'm redirected to http://www.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/.
They might be updating the website right now. Maybe it takes a day or two for you until you see the changes.

You could try the following it is a direct link to the Windows driver download...
http://cache.lego.com/Media/Download/Mi ... nload1.zip

No idea if it will also end up being redirected or not.

Thank you. That link worked. I hope Lego puts the link on the website again.
