remotely connected NXT brick via USB?

Postby keng » Sun Dec 16, 2007 1:33 am

Hello,

I need NXT brick notify the arguments to PC from NXT brick, then PC processes the arguments
and send the request to NXT brick again.(in Thread on PC).
I know the remote control via blue tooth is available in iCommand,
Is it available via USB now?

Thanks a lot!

As Lawrie mentioned, that's available for leJOS NXJ (which is different from iCommand). iCommand does not have support for USB control, though it would theoretically be quite easy to do since we have that code for the leJOS NXJ tools ready to go. It just needs to be ported over. I had no intention of doing this anytime soon since the cable would get in the way when the robot moves. Maybe it would be useful for stationary robots.

Is USB control something you would want to see in iCommand?
