ICommand compiling problem

Postby struggle » Tue Jan 01, 2008 1:32 pm

Hi All

I’m having problems compiling an ICommand sample program, I know the answer is something I haven’t setup properly.

The command I run to compile the program is “javac directnxt.java” and I get the following errors “icommand.nxt does not exist”

I think the problem is to do with the "classpath" but I’m not sure how to set this.

Please can someone help

Thanks

You are right, it sounds like your classpath is not set up. The classpath must point to your icommand.jar file. So it wil be something like: c:\java\icommand\dist\icommand.jar or whereever you happen to store your icommand.jar file.

To set this in Windows, read the readme. It explains exactly where you go in Windows to do this.
