Environment variable mac OS problem

Postby nicola3595 » Fri May 09, 2014 5:08 pm

Hi everyone, first of all i apologize to everyone for my bad english (I'm italian).
I have been trying for 2 days to make lejos work with eclipse (and after that i tried with netbeans);
I'm working on a MacBook with OSX Lion 10.7.5.
I followed the official guide on how to set lejos on mac, and i really tried everything i could but nothing worked.
The main problem is that environment variables are not set (i think), i've already tried:
-write on terminal: "export NXJ_HOME = ""path to lejos folder""
-write on terminal "sudo pico ~/.bash_profile" and write in there the variables and the paths
i've tried it so many times-- i'm turning insane..
i really need help, if only someone could help me step by step to add those variables

For instance, i downloaded the nxj plugins on eclipse but when i try to click the "flash" button (the j on the menu bar) it shows:
"
See Eclipse error log for detailed stack trace.
starting nxjflashg failed
org.lejos.nxt.ldt.util.LeJOSNXJException: NXJ_HOME is not set. Please specify it in the plug-in's preferences
See Eclipse error log for detailed stack trace.
"

thanks in advance
