1. On page 26, #6 I don’t understand where to add ‘;%LEJOS_HOME\bin’. Figure 2-3 on page 27 is confusing.

2. I can't install VMware player in Windows XP?
I get msg 'Setup failed to write to the registry. Click OK to exit.

In your environment variables in the system variables section there is a variable called

PATH

mine value looks like this

%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;%LEJOS_HOME%\bin;C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\binn\;C:\Program Files\CodeSmith\v4.1\;C:\VXIPNP\WinNT\Bin;%LEJOS_HOME%\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;;C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG\pub;c:\icommand\icommand\dist\bluecove.jar

I also have variables called;

JAVA_HOME

C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_02

LEJOS_HOME

C:\lejos_nxj

NXJ_HOME

C:\lejos_nxj

i suggest looking at this it will give you an idea of the Environment variables in Windows XP
