Code: Select all

Compile with:
nxj -r rfk

import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
import lejos.util.Delay;

Should compile and run fine - but if you find any bugs let me know.

Thanks to gloomyandy for pointing out a previous error.

This will probably be the final version - all the features are there and everything works fine.

What are you expecting to happen? You seem to be trying to display the instructions on how to play after you have played the game (which seems a little strange to me)....

As far as I can see nothing ever sets exit_rfk to true, so the loop in play_game will never exit (and if it did then your call to NXT.exit() will terminate the program). So your message display code will never get to run. The only code that seems to end the program is when the game is complete and you call NXT.exit() which will terminate the program.

Well, that was stupid.

I just need to put

MessageDisplay m = new MessageDisplay();

before play_game();.

Thanks for pointing that out - I'll update the first post with the working code when I test it out.
