Unable to turn EV3 on after Installation of LeJos

Postby Paradummy » Thu May 08, 2014 4:57 pm

Hello guys,
I tried to install LeJos on my EV3. After multiple fails (because of wrong Java version etc.) it worked, once :( Then i restarted it and the normal Lego UI was showing. I formated the SD card again and created a new one using the tool from LeJos. It was starting again the LeJos software and updating everything, but during "expand image" the ev3 just turned of and now i can't turn it on again :(
I already removed the sd card and changed the batteries, but there is no sign of life, not even a LED blinking.
Was somebody already having the problem or can provide me a solution, I would really appriciate it . (The Lego support was not able ATM)

I already asked the lego support and said that I'm unable to turn the ev3 on. They answerd that i should reset the EV3 to factory settings by doing some steps and the first one was to make sure that the ev3 is turned on
I just thought that maybe someone here could help me :)

The first thing you need to do is to get your hardware working. If it won't even turn on there is not a lot we can do. It sounds to me like there is some sort of fault with the EV3. The Lego folks are the people to deal with that.
