Missing wlan interface

Postby Donitz » Sun Jul 20, 2014 9:40 pm

Hey.

I've been trying for a few days now to get the wifi to work on my ev3 brick. If I try to scan for access points it just says "no access points found". The only network interfaces listed using ifconfig are br0, loopback and the usb interface. When the device is started it says "no device found" when configuring wifi. I have no idea what to do next.

What WiFi dongle are you trying to use?

Ah. I was under the impression that the wlan adapter was integrated in the brick itself. That explains it.

No only Bluetooth and USB. Make sure if you buy a dongle that you get one of the supported ones. If you want to use the Lego software check which ones they currently support. For leJOS see the following WiKi page:
