I sent to class over to Lawrie for submission as I have done with other classes in the past. Once its in the SVN have a look at it i'm interested in some feed back. its loosely bases on the light sensor class. Using the same formulas from the light sensor class i was able to get relatively the same values and the programing brick suppled by HiTechnic. I'm going to email them about the formulas to see if i can get closer to the returned values.

I contacted Hitechnic and they were extremely helpful. I submitted what i hope will be the one and only update to the EOPD sensor class. The values that im not getting from the sensor are dead on with the NXT-G block. if a few cases its off by one so I'm very pleased with the end result.

Hi is there already an EOPD supporting class implemented in leJOS 0.7 ?
Is it possibly the OpticalDistanceSensor class? I really don't know what to do. The worst scenario would be to write it myself.
