leJOS Tutorial needed

Postby quack » Sun Jul 08, 2007 9:09 pm

Hey. I just got my Lego NXT and I'd like to get it working with java programming. Are the leJOS RCX tutorials suitable for me (to learn how to program with the NXT)? Can anyone piont me a tutorial?

So I assume that you know java somewhat. If so, I'd say the best thing to do is to look at the RCX tutorial then and the samples. If there is any difference between the RCX and NXT notation, you can just check the NXT API.

Actually... I wrote a tutorial for someone at my school... I'll see if i can dig it up.

FOUND IT! it doubles as an intro to java too so if you happen to be a little rusty in that, it will get you up to speed.

You're right I know how to program in java that's why i've chosen lejos to build projects with my lego NXT.

Where can I find those samples?

Thanks a lot for the help

The RCX tutorials are found here - http://lejos.sourceforge.net/p_technologies/rcx/tutorial/index.html.

You can find that link and any other RCX links at the leJOS main page, http://lejos.sourceforge.net/ in the left navigation column under RCX Brick.
