LeJos support for Eclipse

Has there been a plugin developed for the Eclipse Jave IDE?

Sheesh, I just realized we forgot to bring the Utilities section over to our new website. You can find what you are looking for here:

Looks like the link above is O.K., but a link it references is stale.

I will poke around, but perhaps the target to the link above needs to be updated.

Here's a link to the latest LDT from our leJOS site:
http://lejos.sourceforge.net/tools/lejo ... leJOS3.zip

The site manager is in the progress of getting the utilities page back up again.

Incomplete installation

Postby j.w.osen » Fri Feb 16, 2007 3:23 pm

I tried using the instructions pointed to above. This led Eclipse to complain about a missing java component. Reviewing the .zip file I conclude that this may be a incomplete distribution.

Does Eclipse need to be installed in C:\Eclipse, or is C:\Program Files\Eclipse sufficient.

Same question for lejos. I put both in C:\Program Files.

Would it be better to just wait until the utilities page is back up again?

I tried loading eclipse and lejos at the root. I still get the complaint that
eclipse cannot find:
org.lejos.tools.eclipse.plugin.wizards.LejosRCXProjectWizard

This may be in:
C:\eclipse\plugins\org.lejos.ldt.core_1.2.0\ldt-core.jar

I have not programmed java in over three years. I remember the "."
in a java path being a combination of the directory paths and the structure within a .jar file. My windows directory tree does not seem consistent with
org.lejos.tools.eclipse.plugin.wizards

I have the path:
C:\eclipse\plugins\org.lejos.tools_1.2.0

Do I need to rename org.lejos.tools_1.2.0 -> org.lejos.tools ?
