ColorLightSensor

Postby antragon » Tue Feb 02, 2010 12:56 am

Hi,

With the new classes.jar (http://lejos.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1883) the LEGO ColorLightSensor works fine...

However, the information on the web about that sensor is not really good. I did not find any information about hardware specs.

Does anyone know what the refresh rate/sampling rate (in full color mode) is?
So what is the minimum time I need to wait between two color requests to be sure that a new sample was taken in the meantime and I do not read the same value I already did?

I'd like to check the returned colors twice to avoid the mistakes that happen at the edge of two areas of different color.

You don't need any delays. Each read of the sensor will read a new value from the sensor....
